At school, when it was math time we had a fun way to learn multiplication.
So there were little cards. And on them, were written a letter from A to Z. And there were also written math problems, like 4x2 or 5x8 or 9x5. Then we had a worksheet. And we would crumple the little cards with the letters written on them and throw them around.
And then there were two cards that had "yellow snow" written on them. So we would throw the cards around. And then when the teacher said stop, we would unwrap the card we had in our hand before throwing it and then we would solve the math problem.
For example, if I got the card with the letter A, I would go to A on my worksheet and write down the answer next to it. And the person who got yellow snow, skips the turn and does not solve anything.
I did not like getting yellow snow. But the other kids really liked it because they did not have to solve anything.
